My big summer plan was to fill our evenings and weekends with free/cheap stuff going on in the community. Well, before I knew it September was here (and gone) and we didn't do much free community stuff. That is ok though because it is still Fall and lots of fun things happen in Fall too!

A few weeks ago we went to CJane's rooftop concert. We drove down and made dinner with the adorable newlyweds and then wandered around trying to figure out exactly where it was. We had so much fun! I loved the music, atmosphere, and conversations with great company. I also had a nice chat with Courtney Kendrick herself. fun!

Kaela and Garrett have set up a perfect newlywed apartment and it is fun to watch them make their new lives together. They are such a cute couple! After the concert I had the best shake of my life. This is saying a lot since I LOVE icecream and have had some dang good stuff. Sammy's Peach Cobbler shake....mmmmmmm!!!

Labor Day Zoo trip

After much needed cleaning and organizing of "The Estate" all weekend, we spent Labor Day at the zoo, BBQing with fam, and cheering on BSU.

Beck LOVED the zoo, although it had nothing to do with the animals. He just liked sitting up in his stroller like a big boy and watching all the people.

The zoo really was a ton of fun for us though!

I won't bore you with tons of animal pics but I'll put up my favorites.

I honestly can't remember what kind of animal these were but look how much they love each other!

See this orangutan? If you click on the picture, you can see that he is holding a camera in his hand.

We were watching this Orangutan taking a walk when someone accidentally dropped their camera a few feet from him. He found the camera right away and started playing with the lens. The camera lens broke off and he had it in his mouth. The people that dropped the camera just thought it was funny and walked off, but we were determined to save this animal's life!

So, we very carefully lowered Chase into the arena...

ok ok...I'm lying about that part. BUT we did call the zoo to tell them what happened.

Within a minute of hanging up the phone we heard a special buzz and the orangutan immediately dropped the camera and ran towards it.

I thought it was so cool that he was so well trained to come when they called.

So, the next time you see the Orangutan exhibit at Hogal Zoo, you have us to thank :)

SIX {months}!

So are you telling me that Baby Beck isn't going to be my baby forever? ...because I am going to have a hard time with that. I can't believe he is already six months. It seems impossible that this kid could have blessed our lives so much in such a short period. We just love him so much!

Beck's first round of rice cereal (at about 5 months) backed him up for a week-

This round (at 6 months went much better) Boy of boy this boy loves his food.

So much in fact-that he eats his bib if we don't give him the next bite fast enough.

Besides being held by someone who loves him, this is his next favorite place to be...his jumperoo.

Mr. Beck is very curious. He notices textures and has made it difficult for mommy to hold him and anything else at the same time because he dives for whatever is in my hand

He has recently started showing excitement for people (and Penny). When Chase brings him in to me in the morning he always gets a huge grin and reaches for me. It melts me to puddles.

Our little man is a mover. He is constantly rolling around the room to get to a toy (or Penny) He gets up on his elbows and stands on his feet like he's going to crawl-but then he just flips over.

He has mastered sitting up! These pictures were about a week ago when he sat Humpty dumpty style but now he is pretty stable. He can sit for longer periods every day.

Mr. Man is also a charmer. He is the biggest distraction at church.

wedding bells!

Well, I know I'm behind but I have lots of good excuses! Weddings, internet outage, new church callings, our nuskin business, and a really cute baby to distract me. SO! I'll start with Kaela's wedding.

A few weeks ago many of our family and friends gathered from all over the country to celebrate my sweet sister's wedding. It was a weekend filled with river rafting, pool parties, late nights chatting under the stars, golf and basketball for the guys (of course), pedi's and manicures with the girls, going to the temple, and just being together. A special thanks to my amazing mom for putting together such a fun weekend/family reunion. You can really see how much she loves her family when she plans such a perfect week for everyone.

The Enzler family is spread out all over the country but everyone managed to come a few days early so we could draw out the party! My oldest sister Tiffini and John came in from Atlanta, brothers Brian and Matt from Texas, (we missed you Dara!!) Aunt Nancy and my cousins Sean, Tracy and her boyfriend Doug came from New Jersey, cousin Jen, Todd and their six kids from Texas, and my Dad's sisters Kathy from Virginia and Connie from Chicago. Kyle, Jade, and Tayler didn't have to travel far. It sure was a party. Its not often that we all get to get together. The only thing missing in the weekend was a few relatives and crabs!

Kaela was a STUNNING bride (of course) It was so much fun for the family to meet Garrett. He makes me sister so happy. They are a great couple who I know will go far together. They had three awesome photographers. My SIL Jalene took some AMAZING pre-wedding photos.

It was especially fun for me to introduce Beck to my family. Most had never met him yet. I ran around trying to get as many pictures of Beck with my family as possible so I can show him the people that love him from afar. Beck really made us look like great parents this week. He is always a really good/easy baby but this week he was an angel! He was on no schedule because we were running around all the time and he never went to bed on time, yet he rarely fussed. He gave smiles to everyone and was totally content getting passed around from person to person. When we got home I felt like I missed him because he was in someone else's arms the whole trip.
