2 lovely years!

Yesterday was our 2 year anniversary and we are just as madly in love as our wedding day. What a wonderful two years it has been! Here are some pictures:

Our cruise was planned for our anniversary so we just did sweet-thoughtful things for eachother rather than spending money. Chase wrote me a very sweet love letter. Included in it was a list of "Fun memories" from the past two years. Here are a few that he listed:
-Getting a Penny
-Trip to NY (flying trapeze)
-Six flags trip for track meets
-Christmas with the Enzlers
-Discovery of "Tom" (this one is an inside joke-story for another day)
-You were my nurse on Halloween
-Your graduation-shaking hands with Elder Perry
-Romantic Anniversary Inn (that was last year's anniversary getaway)
-Working all Summer with you selling pest control-you are so tough!
-Being two years married to my best friend!!

Can't wait for another billion trillion years of happiness together!!

Highlights of our CRUISE:

Getting there: left at 6:45am. 2 plane connections, missed the first-lost baggage, $2 drink on the plane (yeah no free drinks anymore OR peanuts) Arrive in Ft. Lauderdale: 10:52pm. luggage arrived the next day. (Goggles in my carry on were a desperate attempt to lighten our baggage at the ticket counter. I put them on to make Chase laugh. When he FINALLY looked over he couldn't stop laughing)

We made it to Ft. Lauderdale and stayed with my Great Aunt Peggy for a day. It was a ton of fun!Finally made it on the ship! luggage and everything!

Cruise tales: Part 2

We loved the animal towels each night. Jenny our stateroom attendant was the BEST!

This was called the "Lovers and Couples Party" There must not have been any lovers on the ship because it was just us and the live band...and the Virgin Pina Colada.

We met a couple of Lamanites and wanted to get a picture with them

We took a Catamaran sailboat out from Cozumel for snorkeling and a private beach.

So cruises are great because 1. You get to lay out in the sun staring at the OCEAN ALL day long on comfortable chairs without sand. 2. You get delicious food anytime you want. 3. You walk out of your room and BAM=FUN.

Most of the time we just LOVED the cruise. At night we would run into some problems though. Everynight we would get all dressed up for fun and then had to wander in and out of the shows, comedy acts, kareoke parties, and dance parties because they were COMPLETELY discusting or innappropriate. So pretty much every night we ended up walking around looking at the GORGEOUS ocean. We have some very tender memories though of just talking about life and dreams with eachother though-and what better place than staring at one of Heavenly Father's most incredible creations?

This was the "Lido deck" at night. The only problem was that the half that you can't see was always filled with drunk, smoking, half naked people. So we stayed away as much as possible.

Poor Chase got sea sick one night. Surprisingly the best medicine was to sit on the top deck in the wind and look/doze off at the ocean. I was sitting next to him at a table gobbling down the Mexican midnight buffet. ;)

Lastly, this was our home for the SEVEN hours we had to wait at the airport. Followed by a 4 hour flight, one hour layover, and another 2 hour flight. Arriving in SLC after 17 hours. ugh.

What a FUN trip! It really was wonderful.

So today there was a MONSTER clinging on to my curtains. I tried to ignore it but it kept edging its way closer and closer to me. Usually when there is a spider or something I will kill it if Chase isn't home. But this thing was more of the size of a bird than an insect so I didn't dare try to get it myself.

Finally I put our hunter up to the job. I put Penny on the windowsill and she was up to the task! After 3 bats with her paw and one gulp, she grabbed the whole thing in one bite! Thanks for saving the day Penny!
This is our favorite trick. She'll stay like this forever unless we tell her she's done!

Countdown to cruise: 9 days!

In 9 days Chase and I will be leaving for Florida for a Western Caribbean CRUISE! Oh my goodness I am so excited. We got a voucher for a Carnival cruise when we bought our car back in December so we're cashing in! It wasn't as "FREE" as it was advertised, but we still got an amazing deal for the cruise and negotiated a large discount for our car so we are happy.

Its a four day cruise that leaves out of Miami and stops in Key West and Cozumel, Mexico. This is my first cruise and we are trying to plan Excursions. Has anyone been on this cruise before? Chase wants to see the Mayan ruins but the only Excursion we found is 7 hours long, which will take up the entire time at Cozumel. Anyone have any cruise experience or advice to share?

Go Aggies! (Take 3)

This is the THIRD time I have created this post, typed the info, painstakingly added each picture. Some times this thing is so frusterating. It kept telling me that my HTML code was unacceptable. Well then don't create it that way blogspot!! I also gave up on getting the pictures in the right place. anyway, hope this works.

Finally we won A game! Yes, ONE game. Its a big deal ok? Not only did we WIN, but we also scored 45-17! It sure was fun to watch the Aggies play well though! Maybe we;l beat the cougs in two weeks...heehee ;) A few weeks ago we went camping with "The Boonies" and Kylie and Spencer Boothe. We didn't get to go camping all summer long so we decided to take one of the last warm weeknds to enjoy the outdoors. We had a TON of fun! Hobo dinners are always FABULOUS, and Boonie and Jenn made some amazing peach cobbler with ice cream for dessert. yum yum!

This weekend I got to go to a NUSKIN conference with Kyle (and got to see Jade and Tayler!) It was a lot of fun! I dont' think I'm going to become a distributor at this point but I think their vitamins and skin products are amazing. We also got to go to Lagoon for NuSkin's company party. Lincoln works there so he got tickets. I had been feeling sick all day but I LOVE rides so I rode anyway. You can imagine those consequences...

So, anyone know of any jobs opening in Logan? Particulary something in communications that includes benefits? Pretty slim pickings...but let me know if you hear of anything! thanks, love ya'll!

I didn't feel so hot-This was while we were in line for WICKED for the second time, it was followed by ten minutes of me staring into a trashcan...
