We're here!

Two weeks down! We have now lived in Boise for a full two weeks and my has it flown! Here is a quick recap of our last few weeks.

First off, Chase graduated! I am so proud of him. His last semester was filled with tons of group projects and tests. He now has a degree in Business Entrepreneurship from the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University. Isn't he so handsome?!

Both of our families were able to travel to Logan to help us celebrate. We are so lucky to be blessed with families that are so loving and supportive. We had a little graduation lunch at good ol' "Cafe Sabor".

We had to get one last "True Aggie" kiss in while we were here. Its too bad it was such a rainy day though!

Chase's best friend Tate was graduating with a business degree at the same time so they got to do the traditional "Graduation March". It is a really neat tradition where all of the graduates meet at the quad and walk to the Spectrum together. Families line the sides and cheer them on as they march to the Graduation song. Chase and Tate have been great friends since their freshman year at USU. We are sad to be leaving him and his adorable wife Jodi. I couldn't help but get choked up (aka "bawl my eyes out") during the closing remarks of commemoration. It was the part where President Albrecht talked about how we all leave breadcrumbs just like hansel and grettal to find our way back "home" to Utah State...how no matter what life brings us in the future, we will ALWAYS find our way back to Logan to remember the wonderful times we had here. This is exactly how we feel! What a wonderful phase of life, and we are closing the door. As sad as it is, we really are eager to start the next stage of life.

After enjoying all of the graduation activities we got busy packing and loading up our little home into a trailer. It was bitter-sweet to say the least!

1 day left!! Well we've been living in ruccous the last week as we packed and cleaned, and dejunked and threw away, and packed some more. Our house is still a dissaster but we're getting closer! Tomorrow Chase graduates from Utah State. I am so proud of him! I am also excited that now I don't have to keep myself from distracting him while he is doing homework.

One week left of our happy student, Aggie, social, 12th ward, Casper's Ice Cream eating, true aggie kissing, Blue Carpet Ball dancing, Track and Field throwing, ASUSU busyness, white house partying lives. We have absolutely LOVED this stage of life. We have made the best of friends and had the best of times growing as a couple. As sad as it is to close the door on this fond stage of our lives, we know that the stages of life that are ahead will bring just as much happiness.

In order of importance of course

• Temple with Chase 4:30pm
• work for Inthinc (4 hours)
• Drop Penny off at groomer (4:00pm)
• Drop junk off at DI
• Spend my Kohls Bucks (SALE TODAY)
• get packing boxes from Smiths
• Pack Pack Pack
• Collect Comcast payments from my neighbors
• Cancel comcast starting in May(We're MOVING!)
• Work at Western Wats (if I can convince myself)
• buy some new "G's"
• Change address with Post Office
• laundry

I LOVE lists. I make a variety of lists every day, but my favorites are "To Do" lists. The sad thing is, I could have probably checked off a few of these things if I would have just done them instead of analyzing and ordering it.

I had no idea that leprechauns liked Andes mints...

Somehow this little leprechaun got into our house and made a big mess of everything! I think he was looking for a pot of gold. Believe me, if we had one, it would not have been hidden in my kitchen cubboard OR my food storage shelf. He left fools gold and Andes mints everywhere, (Andes mints? who would have thought?!) along with a trail of little magical clovers everywhere he went. What a funny little guy!

For dinner on Sunday I made corned beef and cabbage. It is an Enzler tradition every St. Patricks Day. I think it is so tasty, it is really too bad that Chase hates it with a passion. He thinks because its red it means its not cooked. Anyway, hope everyone had a lucky day!

What happened to the Taylor's?

I don't really have a good reason for not updating in a long time...other than I didn't have any cute pictures to put up? Ok thats not the real reason either. I just haven't felt like it. Lazy I guess. Anyway, we've been 2 busy kids. Chase has ONE MONTH left of his college education and will be graduating in May in Business Entrepeneurship. He has been working part time at Western Wats with me. I have been working at Western Wats as well as finding the speed limits for random cities across the country for a company called Inthinc. It is great because I get to work from home and choose my own hours. We've also been sick on and off for the past month. A nasty cold for Chase and a chronic cough for Leah. We're just about over it now though, just in time for the warm weather!

Two weeks ago my brothers Brian and Matt and Matt's wife Dara came into Boise for the weekend from Dallas. We sure love getting to see them! The weekend was filled with birthday celebrations(Kyle), Walley-ball, a mafia-type game called werewolf, playing with baby Tayler, and of course, plenty of basketball for the boys...er...men.

This past weekend Chase's brother and sister came to Logan for a night and we showed them a good old time as Aggies. Abby is coming up to USU for school next year so we showed her around campus. We also got to teach them "The Scotsman" at an infamous Aggie Basketball game. We sure love Abby and Lincoln!

That is pretty much our update. We have just been enjoying the busyness of life and have been making good plans for the future. We have recently decided to try our hand at Real Estate this summer and head to Boise to learn from a pro. (My bro Kyle). It will be a fun learning experience-and you can always count on the Taylor's to be up for an adventure!
